Goran Škofić: From the series 'Neon Sky'

Two-day symposium is confronting opinions and experiences of various internationally proclaimed experts through various panel discussions dedicated above all to the central exhibition project of the festival Tension Field.

Tension Field is connecting curators and selectors from six different countries (Austria, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia). The actual “mapping” and networking in the region at Photonic Moments festival is contributed by: Jerica Ziherl and Sabina Salamon, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Arts, Rijeka; Svetlana Mladenov, Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina, Novi Sad; Gerhard Gross, Kulturvermittlung Steiermark – Cultural City Network Graz; Aleksander Bassin, freelance curator and Dejan Sluga, Photon Gallery.

Second part of the Forum is traditionally dedicated to presentations of artistic practices and publishing projects; this year presentations are held by: Diane Smyth, chief editor of British Journal of Photography, Filip Vančo, director of Photoport Asociation and magazine (Bratislava), Marko Lipuš, founder of Literaturfoto (Vienna) and Jan Babnik, chief editor of Fotografija magazine (Ljubljana).
